Fubex DEOX SAE-60 API: CD-SF Diesel Engine Oil

The DEOX 60 CD SF is a monograde gasoline engine oil as well as a diesel engine oil crafted for passenger cars. SAE 50 refers to the viscosity of the DEOX 60 CD SF Diesel engine oil . In this case the 60 tells us that the oil is thick and maintains it’s viscosity over a large temperature range. Meaning it is generally not suitable for extremely cold environments but performs well in hot environments. The CD/SF is the classification done by the American petroleum institute (API). This classification tells us that the engine oil has been tested and satisfies industry standards in certain areas such as oxidation protection, wear protection, sludge prevention and soot handling.

As opposed to other engine oils, the  DEOX 60 CD SF Diesel engine oil is a monograde oil. There is no universal number as to how often you should change your DEOX 60 CD/SF  Diesel engine oil . It depends solely upon your vehicle type and the load you put on it. Consult your vehicle manual for guidance.

Being a monograde oil, the DEOX 60 CD SF Diesel engine oil is suitable for extremely high temperatures but not low temperatures.
