ISO VG 68 is a moderate viscosity hydraulic oil made with a paraffin base oil and advanced additives. It is classified under anti-wear oils owing to its exceptional lubrication and anti-corrosion properties.

ISO 68 hydraulic oil is primarily used to reduce the effects of friction and ensure smooth functioning of industrial hydraulic systems, some gear boxes and compressors.

Hydro ISO VG 68 is used in hydraulic and mechanical systems of industrial grade. This lubricant has excellent anti-wear properties and it makes continuous functioning of industrial equipment possible by reducing friction and corrosion.

Hydro ISO VG 68 is a paraffin-based lubricant having moderate viscosity. It also boasts enhanced oxidation reduction and anti-foaming properties owing to high-quality additives. The lubricant possesses thermal stability i.e., it can maintain its viscosity at moderate to high temperatures.

Generally, products having similar viscosity grades are compatible with each other. However, it is crucial to consult OEM’s recommendations before mixing any two lubricants.

ISO 68 hydraulic oil should be kept in tightly closed containers away from heat and moisture. Exposure to direct sunlight can affect the efficacy of the lubricant, thus, the containers must be place in shade.

When handling the ISO 68 hydraulic oil avoid direct contact with skin and eyes by wearing PPE like gloves and goggles. Do not ingest the fluid or inhale its fumes to prevent health hazards. in case of spillage, clean the area promptly to avoid further problems. Dispose off the used lubricant properly.
