ISO VG 46 hydraulic oil is a moderate viscosity oil. It is applicable for moderate-duty hydraulic systems and performs well under moderate conditions of temperature and pressure. It is an ideal lubricant for hydraulic systems in industrial machinery that require moderate viscosity lube.

Hydraulic oils having high viscosity grade are more suited for heavy-duty hydraulic systems and large industrial machinery.

ISO VG 46 hydraulic oil is a suitable lubricant for moderate conditions of temperature. For extreme temperature conditions, consider a hydraulic oil with a higher viscosity grade.

When selecting ISO VG 46 for a specific application, make sure that it is moderate duty and performs at moderate conditions of temperature and pressure. It should also be ensured that the hydraulic oil is compatible with the seals and materials used in the machinery.

ISO VG 46 anti-wear hydraulic oil provides effective lubrication and minimizes the effects of friction. Thus, it reduces the wear on components and keep the systems up and running for longer.

Keep the lubricant at dry area away from direct sunlight and moisture. Make sure that the containers are air-tight to prevent contamination and avoid mixing it with other substances.

It is important to use personal protective equipment when handling the oil to avoid contact with skin and fume inhalation. Moreover, the disposal of used oil should be in accordance with the regulations that help prevent environmental contamination.
