The HY VI ISO VG 220 is made using paraffin base oils and advanced additives which impart important properties to the oil.  This anti-wear Hydraulic oil is meant to be used in hydraulic systems in industrial and agricultural settings. ISO VG 220 is a very high viscosity oil and works well in heavy-duty equipment such as that used in construction.

Applications

The INDUS ISO VG 220 Hydraulic oil is applicable for most hydraulic systems, particularly those working under extremely high temperatures and very heavy loads.

ISO VG 220 indicates that this is a very high viscosity hydraulic oil. It maintains its protective properties at very high temperature and pressure. Thus, it is a suitable oil for heavy-duty systems.

Indus ISO VG 220 can withstand harsher conditions as compared to lower viscosity grades like ISO VG 46. It is meant to be used where conditions of temperature and pressure are extreme.

It is not recommended to do so. Each viscosity grade of Hydraulic oil has specific properties meant to be used in particular conditions of temperature and load.

Indus ISO VG 220 is commonly used in industrial hydraulic systems and other machinery like gearboxes and reciprocating compressors. 

Indus ISO VG 220 is a high viscosity oil, it maintains a good lubricating film on moving parts of machinery even at high temperatures and under heavy loads.

A low viscosity Hydraulic oil fails to maintain a lubricating film at high temperatures which results in high friction and wear. Using a higher-grade lubricant where ISO VG 220 is recommended would cause poor lubricant flow, inconsistent lubricating film and increased energy consumption.

Thus, it is crucial to use the correct viscosity grade of anti-wear Hydraulic oil to prevent damage and minimize downtime. 

Special storage requirements of ISO VG 220 include keeping the containers away from moisture and heat. It is important to prevent air exposure by keeping the container of Hydraulic oil tightly sealed. 

Always make sure that the Hydraulic oil is compatible with the machinery or equipment before using it to prevent damage.
