The UAE announced the new fuel prices for January 2026 on Wednesday, December 31. The Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee has reduced the rates, giving drivers a welcome relief at the start of the new year.
Fuel prices approved by the Ministry of Energy are set every month based on the average global oil price, along with the operating costs of distribution companies.
The new rates will take effect from January 1, 2026, as follows:

Depending on the type of vehicle you drive, filling up a full tank of petrol in January 2026 will cost between Dh8.67 and Dh12.58 less compared to December 2025.
