UAE Fuel Rates: Will Petrol Prices Drop in November?

Petrol prices in the UAE might go down a little in November 2025 if global oil prices stay low for the rest of the month. In October, the average Brent oil price was about $65.22 per barrel, lower than $67 in September. This means UAE fuel prices could be adjusted to match the global rates at the end of the month.

Global oil prices mostly went down in October because there was too much supply, hitting nearly a five-month low. But in the last few days, prices went up again after the US announced sanctions on Russian oil companies.

On Friday night, WTI oil was $61.61 per barrel and Brent was $66.05 per barrel. In the UAE, petrol prices went up in October by seven fils per litre. The Fuel Price Committee set Super 98 at Dh2.77, Special 95 at Dh2.58, and E-Plus 91 at Dh2.71 per litre.

Some banks predict oil prices might drop further. Bank of America expects prices around $55 per barrel because Asian demand is steady and Opec+ is controlling supply. Citigroup thinks prices could fall to $50 if global demand drops and political risks go down.

Analyst Nadir Belbarka from XMArabia says oil prices are under pressure because supply is expected to grow faster than demand. Global supply might rise by over three million barrels per day in 2025 and 2.4 million barrels per day in 2026, while demand grows much slower. But tensions like Russian export limits and Iranian output rules give some support to prices.
