Earlier this month, eight OPEC+ membersโincluding Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Omanโagreed to a modest output increase of 137,000 bpd in October, significantly lower than the previous monthsโ increases.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts that global oil supply will rise faster this year, with a possible surplus in 2026 as OPEC+ and non-OPEC producers boost production.
