Saudi Arabia Crude Exports Fall to Four-Month Low in July

Saudi Arabia, the worldโ€™s largest oil exporter, saw its crude oil exports fall to 5.994 million barrels per day in July, down from 6.141 million bpd in Juneโ€”the lowest since March 2025, according to JODI data. Crude production also dropped to 9.201 million bpd from Juneโ€™s 9.752 million bpd.

Meanwhile, Saudi refineries increased throughput to 2.978 million bpd, about 10% higher than June, while direct crude burning declined to 608,000 bpd.

Earlier this month, eight OPEC+ membersโ€”including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Omanโ€”agreed to a modest output increase of 137,000 bpd in October, significantly lower than the previous monthsโ€™ increases.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts that global oil supply will rise faster this year, with a possible surplus in 2026 as OPEC+ and non-OPEC producers boost production.
