On August 31, the UAE announced the fuel prices for September.
In August, petrol rates dropped slightly by one fil after showing a small rise in July. From September 1, the new rates are as follows:
- Super 98 petrol: Dh2.70 per litre (up from Dh2.69 in August)
- Special 95 petrol: Dh2.58 per litre (up from Dh2.57)
- E-Plus 91 petrol: Dh2.51 per litre (up from Dh2.50)
- Diesel: Dh2.66 per litre (down from Dh2.78)
Fuel prices directly affect transportation and inflation. Stable rates help keep travel expenses and the cost of goods under control.
The UAE remains among the top 25 countries with the lowest petrol prices worldwide, with an average of Dh2.58 per litre.
