UAE Petrol and Diesel Prices for July 2026 Announced

UAE Petrol and Diesel Prices for July 2026 Announced

The UAE has announced new fuel prices for July 2026 after fuel prices increased for four months in a row.

The new prices started on July 1, 2026:

  • Super 98 Petrol: Dh3.40 per litre, down from Dh3.95 in June.
  • Special 95 Petrol: Dh3.29 per litre, down from Dh3.83.
  • E-Plus 91 Petrol: Dh3.21 per litre, down from Dh3.76.
  • Diesel: Dh3.60 per litre, down from Dh4.33.

Since the Middle East conflict began on February 28, fuel prices in the UAE had been increasing. During that time, prices went up by more than 60%. However, global oil prices fell during June, so many people expected fuel prices in the UAE to decrease in July.

Fuel prices affect almost every family because buying fuel is a regular expense. Even a small increase in fuel prices can make it more expensive to drive and can take a bigger share of a family’s monthly budget.

On April 28, 2026, the UAE announced that it would leave OPEC and OPEC+, with the decision taking effect on May 1, 2026, after being a member for about 60 years. After leaving these groups, the UAE may be able to produce up to 30% more oil than before, depending on how quickly it expands its production capacity.
