UAE Petrol And Diesel Prices for October 2026 Announced

The UAE has announced its petrol and diesel prices for October 2026. Fuel prices increased slightly in September after rising in August as well. Before that, prices fell in July after four straight months of increases linked to the regional conflict.

The new fuel prices will apply from October 1, 2026:

  • Super 98 Petrol: Dh4.40 per litre, up from Dh3.80 in September
  • Special 95 Petrol: Dh4.28 per litre, up from Dh3.69
  • E-Plus 91 Petrol: Dh4.21 per litre, up from Dh3.61
  • Diesel: Dh4.80 per litre, up from Dh4.30

Since the Middle East conflict began on February 28, UAE fuel prices have risen by more than 60%. Prices dropped in July but started rising again in August and September.

The 60-day ceasefire between the US and Iran has now ended, with Washington saying it does not plan to extend it. Iran has also threatened to increase its response. Meanwhile, attacks by the Houthis on oil facilities in the Red Sea have added to concerns about oil supplies.

Fuel price changes can directly affect household budgets. Fuel is a regular outgoing for most families and so even a small increase can mean paying more for petrol or diesel each month.
